Senior School Programmes

Year 10 Curriculum

Year 10 is the transition year from middle to senior schooling; students are introduced to work experience through supported programs and are equipped with the preliminary skills required for work in the wider world.

Year 11 Curriculum

Year 11 gives the opportunity for students to consolidate early work skills and associated pathways. Through a range of workplace opportunities; students are encouraged to refine their ideas of possible vocational endeavours.

Year 12 Curriculum

Year 12 students are encouraged to consolidate pathways beyond school. Through work experience opportunities, they may be offered work trials which lead to post school employment. TAFE courses are offered both on and off site and are complimented by classroom enrichment programs.

Vocational Education
and Training

Vocational Education and Training at Leeming SHS Education Support Centre provides Year 11 and 12 students with opportunities to maximise their Secondary Education experience and gain additional skills to perform effectively in the workplace.

Workplace Learning

Students explore roles and tasks working with different teams, as well as identify roles that they did not wish to pursue in the future. Placements have included insurance firms, automotive workshops, gyms, childcare centres, hospitals, primary schools and many more.
