Leeming ESC students engage in enterprise activities and projects

Enterprise education at Leeming SHS ESC is meaningful and functional and focuses on helping students develop entrepreneurial, life and employment skills to prepare them for life beyond school. Learning focuses on skills deemed essential for the future workforce, as well as those needed to start a micro business.

Enterprise is embedded in the curriculum at Leeming ESC. We have annual events to promote and showcase our enterprise products. The Leeming SHS ESC Pop Up Shops has emerged as a highlight on our school calendar. Students showcase and sell a variety of classroom made enterprise products to parents, carers and our local community. Brilliant creativity and hard work have seen students in the past make a wonderful array of items including calendars, key rings, candles, upcycled gnomes, silly putty, stress balls, and bee magnets. Classes also research and decide upon a charity they would like to donate a minimum of 50% of their class takings.
