Leeming ESC targeted Numeracy Programmes

All students across years 7 to 9 are engaged in daily numeracy programmes with teachers implementing explicit teaching models for the delivery of numeracy. Utilising the WA Curriculum, Leeming SHS ESC has developed a targeted numeracy program. Focusing on practical mathematical application in time, money and measurement. Numeracy lessons are targeted to individual areas of need using data from classroom and school-wide assessments. Assessments have been linked to programs such as the Top Ten Maths Package and The Maths Box Series.
