Our Physical Education Program

Leeming SHS ESC’s dedicated Physical Education program is delivered by a specialist team, tailoring the program to the individual needs of each student. Leeming SHS ESC participates in a variety of inter-school sports and community programmes, making connections with the wider Physical Education community. These initiatives include ESSN carnivals, Kalability inter-school carnivals (basketball, soccer, cricket and AFL), Notre Dame fundamental movement skills program and Stephen Michael Foundation AFL and leadership programs.

Internally, we run programs, including a wide range of sports, such as swimming and beach safety, dance, yoga, boxing, fitness, hockey, ultimate frisbee, tee-ball, athletics and outdoor education. Visits from sporting organisations such as the Fremantle Dockers, West Coast Eagles and the Perth Scorchers are highlights.

Our focus is to promote the benefits of a sustainable healthy lifestyle within students, throughout their schooling life and beyond.
